Writing to the Unknown Friend

"Happy is he who . . . writes from the love of imparting certain thoughts and not from the necessity of sale -- who writes always to the unknown friend." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

About Me

AnneRice
Highlands Ranch, CO, United States
Perhaps you're wondering why this blog address is "theotherannerice." People often ask me if I'm Anne Rice, the writer. "Well...." I say. "Yes, but not the vampire author. But I wish I had her royalties." I've been a freelancer for the last 10 years, but I've also been a full-time newspaper reporter and a part-time college journalism instructor. These days my most important jobs are being a wife to Mike and mom to my two beautiful sons, Evan and Will. I also love taking photos, traveling, the outdoors and preserving memories through scrapbooking and mixed media.
